God has a purpose and a plan for you too!
Happiness relies upon the circumstances going on around us, and we cannot count on it.
But - we can have the Joy of the Lord, which gives us strength. Jesus will never leave or forsake us. When we come to a living faith in Christ, His joy dwells in our heart ~ where Christ Jesus lives by the power of His Holy Spirit.
And if we try to do His will - we will have His joy to sustain us in the good times ~ and those times that may seem quite bad. Jesus has gone through the same trials and temptations as us ~ although He never sinned.
Jesus was, "Sinless Man and Holy God." ~ He was born of the Virgin Mary who was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, and she conceived Jesus in her womb. Therefore, Jesus was not tainted by the sin of Adam.
"Heavenly City" is a song ~ and Heaven is on my mind every day. This life is not all there is!
If you keep your eyes on Heaven - the trials and problems of this life will go quickly by.
This life goes by swiftly - almost like a vapor.
Even though some of our homes may seem like a "bit of Heaven" on this earth, it will soon be time to leave them behind.
However, Eternity will last forever. So we must be ready for it!
Remember, God is always waiting for us to come to Him in prayer.
